Bodied by Pinck Fit, LLC was established in July of 2020. BBPF is a fitness training program that provides one-on-one personal training sessions to individuals that seek help and motivation for their lifetime fitness journey.

I did not feel comfortable working out in a unisex gym setting because I did not want guys staring at me. In 2013, I decided to overcome my fear and joined a gym. January of 2016 was one of the first times I decided to put my health first. I started working out regularly and sought assistance a few months later. 

 

In March 2017, I began researching healthy eating practices and decided to start training myself. I started to look and feel better, this was my motivation. I received great feedback from so many people who watched my transformation. People started reaching out to me for assistance, and I would invite them to come work out with me for free.

Fast forward to the end of 2019, I fell off track with my eating habits. I gained 14 pounds of unwanted weight. How did that happen? Well, it started from getting too comfortable after slimming down to the size I was happy with at the time.

Meet Your Trainer

My name is Tanea Pinckney, and I am the proud owner of Bodied by Pinck Fit, LLC. I have a passion for helping individuals meet their fitness goals. My fitness journey is like so many others but yet still different and I would like to share a brief summary of it with you.

I was born and raised in Charleston, SC, and currently reside in North Charleston, SC. I have always enjoyed working out for as long as I can remember. However, like many others, I was not consistent with it, nor was I a fan of healthy eating. I was always very small, and just assumed I would never gain weight! Over the years I started gaining weight, mainly in my mid-section. I always ended up finding a shortcut to get rid of the weight, only to have it continue to come back more and more.

In February of 2020, I started back eating healthy, and in March I took a different approach to my fitness journey. Then, COVID-19 came and the gyms were closed. I continued with my plan but converted to at-home and outdoor workouts. My goal was to shed all the unwanted fat off of me first, and then build my muscle back. While doing that, I started and completed school at Trident Technical College for the NASM Personal Training program. I gained a lot of knowledge to help my current and future clients, as well as myself. Looking in the mirror brought me back to reality. Fitness is a lifestyle, not a fad or a seasonal thing.
